Fortetsia 3.5 2XL is a two-module standard shelter from the Fortetsia line with an increased size of the protected area. It has two inputs and outputs with Z-running. A common type of shelter for installation at bus stops in crowded cities, parks and squares in cities. It is in demand in small businesses to shelter company employees. If it is possible to install additional production control posts, then at enterprises they make a protected post in the shelter, which, together with video surveillance, allows not to stop production during alarms.
The "Fortetsia" shelter is the most innovative ground-based modular civil defense shelter in Ukraine. Developed using advanced engineering solutions and experience in the construction of Israeli and Swiss shelters, this structure complies with DSTU 9195:2022 and DBN B.2.2-5:2023 standards.
"Fortetsia" provides guaranteed protection against fragments weighing up to 400 grams flying at a speed of up to 1000 meters per second, and also withstands a direct shot from a T72 tank with a high-explosive fragmentation projectile, as shown in the videos on our YouTube channel.
The structure also withstands a standard shock blast air wave with an excess pressure of 100 kPa and even more. Thanks to engineering solutions, the "Fortetsia" shelter can withstand even 200 or 300 kPa, which exceeds standard strength requirements by two or three times.
This shelter has 30 cm reinforced concrete walls with spatial reinforcement, an arched roof structure, a Z-shaped entrance to the shelter to prevent shrapnel or blast wave penetration, buttresses to keep the walls from impact and vacuum waves, and radiation shielding.
The "Fortetsia" shelter is available in two sizes of internal width between the walls: 2.25 meters and 3.5 meters, which allows it to be used both for the protection of people and for transport, machinery and large-sized equipment.
The design with an internal width of 3.5 meters allows you to fully organize protected production lines or warehouses. Also, the internal width of 3.5 meters is the most convenient from the point of view of compliance with the norms of inclusivity and accessibility for low-mobility population groups, which is a necessary requirement for fulfilling the norms of DBN B.2.2-5:2023.
