Two Fortetsia 3.5 (model 4XL) modular reinforced-concrete shelters by Hobbit House have appeared at the Kyiv School of Economics in Kyiv. During air raid alerts, one of them is open to everyone nearby; the other serves those inside the institution.
KSE chose the Fortetsia 3.5 in the 4XL configuration — a modular reinforced-concrete shelter assembled from modules directly on site. According to the standards, each shelter accommodates up to 140 people at a time.
What's inside: seating, a restroom, ventilation, fire extinguishers and drinking water — everything needed to shelter people during an alert.
Protection: the structure protects against shrapnel and blast waves. The model is certified to DSTU 9329:2025.
During an air raid alert, the shelter open to visitors will serve as the nearest safe point for everyone near Natalka Park and the Obolon embankment in Kyiv.
Battle-tested. Engineer-approved.
