According to the Civil Protection Code of Ukraine, it is one of two options for civil protection shelters that must be built to protect employees of institutions, enterprises, students, and children in kindergartens.
Due to the compliance of the Hobbit type modules with the requirements of DBN V.2.2-5:2023, for which there are calculations from leading universities, expert opinions and certificates of conformity, the use of standard Hobbit type modules for the construction of anti-radiation shelters allows you to save time and money on design, as well as significantly reduce both construction time and the number of builders on the site.
The standards and requirements for radiation shelters are significantly different from the standards and requirements for the simplest, or primary (mobile) shelters, and therefore the PRU is much more comfortable and expensive. Hobbit House LLC can design and build a radiation shelter according to the Customer's specifications. Or it can manufacture and supply Hobbit-type modules to contractors for the construction of the PRU.
